Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
Names or places entered in a search tool are sent to the outside provider that operates that tool. The provider processes the request and returns its results. We do not keep a separate log of those search terms.
Messages and Contact Submissions
When someone sends us a message, we may retain it long enough to respond and maintain the related correspondence. We do not disclose that message outside our organization unless the law requires disclosure.
Data We Gather Automatically
Normal server and analytics records can capture technical details when a page loads:

- Operating system and device category
- Visited pages and time spent on them
- Referring website, when supplied
- Date and time of each request
Cookies and Analytics

No Criminal-Record Data on File
We do not build, maintain, or sell a database of personal criminal records. The site publishes general directions to Cumberland County offices, the Kentucky State Police Criminal Identification and Records Branch, Kentucky courts, and the Kentucky State Police Sex Offender Registry. Visitor information is not assembled into a consumer report, and this site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies power the search boxes. Information submitted there is governed by the provider's privacy policy, retention terms, and sharing rules. We do not control those practices. Review the policy displayed by a search provider before entering information.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Kentucky courts, the Cumberland County government, law-enforcement agencies, legal resources, or outside tools. Once a visitor follows a link, the destination's privacy policy applies. Read it before providing personal details.
Advertising providers may also use their own systems to measure activity across websites and select ads. We do not operate that cross-site technology.

We do not sell personal information. Limited data may be available to:

- Government or law-enforcement bodies acting under a valid legal demand
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable security measures are used for information within our control. No internet service can promise absolute security, however, so we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access will never occur.
Users Under 18
The website is intended for adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 18. If we learn that such information was provided, we will remove it.
Your Data Rights
Rights depend on the law that applies to the visitor and the data. Kentucky's Open Records Act, KRS 61.870 through 61.884, governs public-agency records, while KRS 17.150 and 502 KAR 30:060 restrict certain criminal-history dissemination. Those government-record rules do not convert this private site into a public agency. Where applicable, a visitor may:
- Request access to personal information we hold
- Ask that inaccurate information be corrected
- Seek deletion of personal information
- Object to or opt out of certain processing
