Official Cumberland County criminal records must be requested from the office that maintains them. Court files, sheriff reports, Burkesville Police reports, dispatch material, and state repository histories follow different routes. The contacts below identify the right starting point for each record type. This privately operated reference site is not a records custodian and cannot receive or fulfill government record requests.

This Is Not a Government Office. We cannot obtain official records, conduct a government background check, accept an expungement filing, or change a Cumberland County record. Send each request directly to its legal custodian.

  • State criminal-history records: Kentucky State Police, Criminal Identification and Records Branch. Follow the official permission and fingerprint rules for the product requested.
  • Booking records: first ask the arresting agency or county jailer which detention facility received the person, since Cumberland does not operate a full local jail.

The court clerk maintains filed cases, not the underlying police narrative. Likewise, police and sheriff offices do not issue certified court judgments. Current fees and visit requirements should be confirmed with the office before a request is sent.
